Atira has taught and inspired a variety of audiences, inspiring them to lead with heart-centred, trauma-informed and innovative approaches in the arena of social change, justice, trauma healing, plant medicine and creativity.
From the National Bank of Australia to TED to many academic conferences around the world, including the Asian Art Therapy conference (Hong Kong), the ANZATA conference (Singapore), the GAATW conference (Nepal) the Healing Ways Conference at the Dax Centre (Melbourne), Arts and Health Conference (Melbourne & Sydney), the Modern Museum of Modern Art (New York) as well as universities in Melbourne and Nepal.
In addition, Atira has published her research ending the cycle of child sex slavery in Asia in chapters for books and peer-reviewed journals, as well as contributed to a #1 Amazon International Best Seller.

She speaks at numerous international trauma conferences, speaking alongside Dr Peter Levine, Dr Stephen Porges, Dr Pat Ogden, and other leading trauma leaders in the world today.
Atira started facilitating groups in 2004, and has refined the art of teaching through her experience as a university lecturer, workshop leader and group facilitator and has developed numerous trauma-informed curriculums and taught on many teacher trainings and professional development programs.
She possesses a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. She currently offers a number of trauma-informed education programs in activism, plant medicine, yoga and healing sexual abuse.
